Colonial Williamsburg!

Williamsburg in the rain with Grandma and the Foreros! It just doesn't get better than that!
What a great time we had with our great friends, the Foreros at Williamsburg. We walked all around the colonial town, laughed, learned a few things, and jumped in a number of puddles.

Mimi worked hard on costumes so that she and Mazie could match. It was a fun time learning how to sew, designing a costume then making it. Mimi was very creative and we found lots of great cloth around the house. She even made a cute bag out of cloth and ribbon. She also found hats, by the end of the day, they were a little droopy from the rain.
My favorite place: the garden! I am amazed  at all the food that they grew, and how beautiful they make the gardens. We bought some "Official Colonial Rosemary" to plant in our garden and remind us of the fun.
Silo was so cute... He came over to me as we were walking on the Duke of Glouchester Rd. and said, "This would be more fun if Ishel and that other girl were here."
  "Do you mean Sarah?" Kari.
"Yea. It would be more fun." Silo. I was amazed that he remembered who you were! And, he definitely got the more fun part. We miss our college Girls!
Highlight of the trip: The Candy Store. It's our favorite place to stop as we leave Williamsburg. No candy apple this time though.
The trip was just great (bad traffic both ways) with the company of good friends. We got home and made 8 pizzas. Yum. We loved having the Foreros stay over night and playing with them. They inspire me every time we get together.
